HOW TO FEEL MORE CONFIDENT
KNOW YOUR WORTH.
After so many years of living and getting older don't loose confidence because of your age. Recognize that through the aging process you have learned so much and contributed to this world in so many ways. Aging brings worth and worth brings confidence. The older we get the more confident we should become.
RECOGNIZE YOUR ACHIEVEMENTS
What have you achieved? Write it down and put it in your accomplishments journal. Allot of times we set goals achieve them and never look back on those things we have achieved because we are trying to achieve another. Recognize your achievements and build your confidence knowing that what you have done has fulfilled its purpose. You might have done more then you actually give yourself credit for, like inspired someone, helped someone, raised little people, contributed to the mission of your job and so much more. We tend to look at the things we have accomplished as little things when in fact that are more then just little things, they are world changing achievements.
TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF
Make sure to keep taking care of yourself as you get older. You know what you need to be doing everyday to care for yourself. Don't forget to care for your mind, body and soul. If you are lacking in taking care of any of these areas for yourself, make sure to take a note of it, maybe schedule something to do about it today and do it. IMPROVE YOUR ENERGY
Hello! Anyone need more energy? Me say "ME!". Haha. Yes I can always use more energy. When I am not energized I defiantly do not feel confident at all. I have noticed that people with allot of energy just seem to be very confident. Have you ever met someone who was groggy and energy-less that was extremely confident? Well, I haven't! Figure out what makes you feel better and gives you energy. Do the foods you eat give you energy? If they don't I am not saying don't eat them just maybe eat them when you know you don't have to go back to work or right before an important meeting. LIFT WEIGHTS
​A man or woman with muscle and no confidence doesn't exist. Well this might not entirely be true, I mean I didn't do any research on this but based on my own experience I cannot recall such a person. Some of the most confident people I know are fitness type of people. I am not saying that unfit people are not confident, because I know there are many, but I know I feel more confident when I feel fit. Lifting weights will help you get fit and in turn you should develop some confidence by just feeling better about yourself. If you have never lifted weights, don't just go out and start lifting as much weight as you can bear, research a plan, it doesn't have to be complicated and ask for help.
AFFIRM YOURSELF
I am confident. Everyday I am getting better. I am here for a purpose and I embrace my purpose with love and joy! These are some simple affirmations that can help bring you confidence. Find your affirmations or use these. Teach them to your children and practice them together. Don't just stop and saying these affirmations but truly believe them and embrace them. This will help build your confidence and the confidence of those you share them with.
STAY ACTIVE
Move, move, move and don't ever stop moving! Yes! Dance, run, walk, clean your house just keep moving baby! When I am moving and doing things I am exercising my body and mind. On my walks and runs is when I get my best ideas. These ideas turn in action and actions return completed projects, work and a life well lived. All these things bring confidence because you are contributing and in turn will have something to feel accomplished about that will inspire another affirmation.
DRESS CONFIDENT
Dress confident...well what does that mean? I can't tell you exactly what to wear but I can say where something you love. Usually if you love what you wear you will feel confident. It doesn't have to be super expensive either, it just has to make you feel beautiful or at least pretty. Regardless of what you wear never forget that you are beautiful and you were created with love so dress yourself with love and go show off your confidence girl!
​KEEP SMILING
One of the best things we can wear is our smile. When we smile and look at people while we smile they feel us and they feel our confidence. Smiling changes your body's chemistry and stimulates your mind. When we smile we are reflecting confidence and people love that type of confidence. Confidence doesn't have to be arrogant or prideful, it can just be a beautiful subtle expression such as a smile.
